Let's think about this scenario. You've got your articles up and running sometime, and was tempted to put in some nice and good article directories. After some time, you see that one or more those websites have exactly the same content of your website. It's a duplicate things, and most of web spiders don't like it, including our beloved search engine : Google.
Is there a work out for this ? Let's see what NgaduTrafik 2007 shares with you.
Write Summary
If you need to post to several niche article directories, then write a
short summary of your articles before doing the post. At the end of the
summary, put a link to your full HTML story in it.
Find Appropriate Categories & Tags
Don't just put blind tags, instead people will ignore your posts as
they don't feel your post match what they're searching for. Spend time
a little bit to find your correct tags or categories for the post.
Don't Make It Too Much
You might think that submitting your article to 100 article directories
will benefit more to your website. On the contrary, it's NOT. Just find
and select 5 or maximum 10 good article directories. Remember the
drill, to much would be harmful.
Watch & Monitor Your Post
After you post it, don't just leave them alone. Watch, and put a note
if you find something unusual. Post to article directories could be a
damn trick somebody ever found, but this could be harmful also. So,
stay watch and connected, and always monitor your SEO activities.
As an example, this NgaduTrafik 2007 website only submitted to 3-4
article directories, but with specific niche and appropriate
categories. The worst case if web spider “think” that you do make
duplicate contents, at least you lower the factor by not done it too
much. Anyway, 3-4 exactly similar contents, especially from article
directories, would be already calculated by the search engine
algorithm, and they would think that there are natural.
Lastly, have you got your cat, ..I mean copy cats ? Well, it might be
doing something funny on the backyard, that would be another
Ngadutrafik investigation :)
