Getting more traffic, means getting network with quality websites that connected in such ways. One component that will boost your position in search engine is Page Rank. As for NgaduTrafik 2007 showcase, which only last in 3 months, I estimate that contestant Page Rank would be maximum PR3.
This is because PR depends on various factors e.g. : domain age, quality links, traffic, content, etc. Well I think getting quality backlinks in 3 months is pretty difficult problem for all of NgaduTrafik 2007 contestants

Why we need Page Rank ? Google is God ?
Google isn't God, for sure. It's a machine with binary code and can
only understand 0 and 1. As it's a machine, there are always some
tricks on how to manipulate its way of “think”.
But Yes, Google is God of Internet. Imagine your Internet life without Google ? (Think..)
So, The Google machine will display results of what you are searching
for, and filter the list on how importance the website to you. The
higher Page Rank, the higher position you will get.
Why I see some of NgaduTrafik 2007 contestants PR only got 1 or even 0 ?
Like I said in above paragraph, high PR websites can only achieved in a long term period. No tricks on that. If you see a brave new website has a PR4 or more, believe me it's a FAKE. Better check websites PR using trusted website like IwebTool.Com
How to achieve higher Page Rank ?
Higher PageRank can ONLY be achieved using good Link Building strategy
(See : Day 5 – Link Building : Where's the block, dude ?). The more you
get quality backlinks, the higher Page Rank you will get. The higher
PageRank you get, the better position you will get on Google result.
NgaduTrafik 2007 contestants' Page Rank
Like I've mentioned in first paragraph, NgaduTrafik 2007 contestants'
PageRank will not exceed PR 3. Why? The time isn't enough to get proper
PageRank. But again, as the contest still goes on, there are many
tricks in getting better PageRank (hence, better position in Google,
Yahoo and MSN).
For me, Link Development .. the good one..and the correct one is just enough.
At least, for this NgaduTrafik 2007 website showcase.
