Dog Link @NgaduTrafik 2007 Building  quality links from another website is very difficult for a webmaster at the beginner level. It's just like putting all blocks in a puzzle in the right way. If you do it the wrong way, then you'll get a nasty image, instead of a Monalisa picture.

Why did I said it's just like a puzzle ?

First, you need to underline the word quality links (it's underlined in the above paragraph, isn't it ?). What I mean by quality link is links with the following details :
  • Link for relevant websites
If you have a website about fishing, that it would be very relevant if you links websites with fishing places, fishing books, all about fishing etc. Don't exchange links with a car manufacturer or adult websites. It will harm your ranking position. (You're still be able doing so, anyway..)

  • Link to/from high quality websites
Quality websites means websites with good content and high PR (Page Rank) (I will explain more about PR on the next day). The better the content, and the higher the PR are, the better web spider loves you. Spend your time exploring the good quality websites you want to link to.

What type of links that we can build ?

Generally, there are only two link types :

  • Internal/Inbound link
Internal link is a link that directed to content in the website itself. How do you build it ? You may probable have seen that kinda links in any sites you're browsing. I bet you familiar with links title, Read .. More ? .. or Related articles ? . That links generally directed you to internal website contents.

  • External/outbound links
The name tells you simply what it is. It is a link to external websites.

  • One-Way links

Many webmasters would avoid giving one way links to another website. Why ? Just too greedy ? Keep in mind that links from your websites (even if it's one way), would give you a high “perspective” in web spider point of view, especially if it's linked to quality and relevant websites. See NgaduTrafik 2007 articles and links within the articles.

  • Two-way/Reciprocal links

It's a link to particular website, and instead, you got a direct link from the linked websites. Reciprocal links is good when your site is still new and developed. The risk is when the linked websites getting lower PR, then your website can have the impact. So, check and always recheck the link in your link partner.

OK, now for NgaduTrafik 2007 showcase, what would I do to get a better and higher PR websites for linking ?
As NgaduTrafik 2007 is all about SEO (Tips, Tricks and Techniques), I just fired my SEO Elite to get a list of high PR SEO websites. SEO Elite then can email them (with a custom email template), and I've just sit waiting for responds.

I build an open directory website for NgaduTrafik 2007. My favourite for Open Directory Project is PHPLD (PHP Link Directory), there's a free version you can download here.

As I only want some relevant websites to be link candidate with NgaduTrafik 2007, in PHPLP I only create three categories :

  • SEO Websites
  • Directories (or Open Directories)
  • Blogs

Add a new menu in NgaduTrafik 2007 website (Link Directory) and put a wrapper from Joomla menu to my PHPLD scripts.

That would be enough for tonight, pals :)
So, have you got the blocks ?
